Sally Mills, Violin II

Sally began playing violin at a young age. Her father, George Hardie, a music teacher and member of the Oregon Symphony, was her first violin teacher. Her sister, Susan Charon is also a member of the violin section.

Sally played in the first season of the Columbia Symphony Orchestra on February 15, 1983. She rejoined the orchestra and has played with the group for the past 18 years. An elementary school teacher for twenty-eight years, Sally recently retired from full time teaching. She now works part time and enjoys spending time with her two adult sons, reading, gardening, traveling, and spending time with friends.
