Carolyn has played continuously for the past 26 years with this orchestra--from its inception as the Palatine Hill Symphony at Lewis & Clark in 1982-1983 under the baton of Dr. Jerry Lyedders, through the tenure of Maestro John Trudeau when it became the Columbia Symphony, to the present.

Carolyn also plays in with Linfield Chamber Orchestra, Newport Symphony Orchestra, Portland Chamber Orchestra, and Rose City Chamber Orchestra.

Summer 2006 she toured Italy with the Santa Monica Chamber Philharmonia and in previous summers she has toured with the Schenectady(NY) Symphony in central Europe, France, Switzerland, and Greece.

She maintains a private teaching studio in Portland and is the clarinet instructor at Lewis & Clark College.
