Kenneth Biggs, Trombone

Kenneth Biggs, second trombone, is a 16-year member of the CSO. Mr. Biggs has also played principal trombone, bass trombone, and tenor tuba (euphonium) with the CSO. An active freelance musician, Mr. Biggs has played with the Oregon Symphony, the Portland Baroque Orchestra (playing the sacbut, or Renaissance trombone), the Portland Brass Quintet, and many other ensembles in and around Portland and Vancouver.

When he is not spending time with his wife or his son (riding bikes, launching rockets, playing catch, or getting creamed at video games), Mr. Biggs enjoys reading a variety of literature (his current favorite is the literary magazine Granta), and watching movies and films.
