Gary Schatz, Board Treasurer

Gary Schatz is the assistant controller for The Oregonian Publishing Company in Portland, Oregon. Prior to this position, Gary was controller of a Portland travel company, controller of a circuit board manufacturing company in Northern California's Silicon Valley and worked in public accounting in the greater Los Angeles area. In addition to serving on the CSO board of directors, his volunteer service includes two years as escrow account manager for the Lake Oswego Swim Club in Lake Oswego, Oregon.

Gary received his bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business Management from the University of Montana. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

One of Gary's other hobbies is enjoying daughter Kelsi ride her horse, Kirby!
